Napier Art Deco
For one week, each year, in February an
annual commemoration of the 1931 Earthquake is held in Napier. It's a fantastic collection of vintage cars, 1930's clothing attended
by people from all over the world.
On alternate years Warbirds over Wanaka and Wings over Wairarapa
are held. We have attended 2 Wings over Wairarapa shows, the last was in January 2013.
At this show we saw the only flying Mosquito
bomber in the world, on static display and in the air. What a fantastic sight!
